The chips and potato cakes here are really tasty! Owners of the place are also really friendly. 10/10 would recommend!
The Rockling rocks!! I like the batter this shop chooses to use on their fish. $62 for 6 person family pack. Had to add $1 each for choosing Rockling so $68 total. Reckon it's worth it.
Reasonably priced fish and chips. Tasty with light and fluffy batter. Served up by a crusty old couple. Don't expect cheery smiles from them but they do take pride in what they serve up. Recommend whenever you get a craving for fried fish.
ASF would have to be my favourite seafood place on Doncaster road within the Balwyn north district that starts with ‘A’. I’ve been there a couple of times and it’s always been the best seafood I’d eaten that day. 5s all round!
A family regular. Friendly and courteous. Fish and Chips and Hamburgers are always great quality and reasonably priced. Nice people also. They probably don't rely on google reviews but thought people should know a great local food place.
New owners? Saturday night & the place is empty. Burger reasonable, but according to the owner, souvlaki is made with a dribble of watery yoghurt masquerading as a garlic sauce, imaginary onions & three miserable pieces of tomato. I have been a 10 year regular, but to be told he doesn't need my custom just adds insult to injury.
I’ve been getting fish and chips at Atlantic seafoods since the 1960’s and I reckon the current owners have been there for at least the last 30 years. They have always been fantastic
Easily the best value for money when it comes to fish and chips. 5/5
