Hazel

Very cool, NYC vibes as a layout. Open kitchen upstairs, definitely the better seating arrangement. Menu is interesting, no real stand outs, however if selected wisely is very nice. Have been 3 times, will return again.

Heard a lot of good things about Hazel ! My friends and I decided to dine in over the weekend! The service and atmosphere of the restaurant are amazing . However the food is so so only! We ordered the chef menu and nothing stood out at all !

This is a five star restaurant with superb plates to share. The bread with kefir butter was brilliant, as were the croquette starters. We had raw fish, duck pate, beetroot and mushroom small plates, all terrific. Steak main course to come. Very friendly helpful service. Do not miss Hazel when in Melbourne.

Everything fine, however, nothing stood out. Service sufficient. The smaller fixed menu left us a little wanting a little more which is to be expected I guess. I feel like a drink at the bar with a couple of of snacks is probably the best option here.

This Old Fashioned is striking in its smoothness yet full of flavour. Oh and before you kick the bucket you have to try the wood roasted pork chop.

First time at Hazel last night. Excellent food, wine, service and ambience. Highly recommended.
