Tsindos Greek Restaurant

Wonderful experience. Very friendly staff and owner as well hands on, we ate 3 courses and all was simply perfect. Great cooked, good taste, generous portion size. Definitely will be back to try more on the menu. Thank you very much.

On 21 September 2022 for our Wednesday Date Night we went to Tsindos We got: Meat Platter Seafood Platter Both dishes were okay, we prefer the meat than the seafood platter as the meat items were way more flavorful. The portion is quite generous tho! The vibe of the place was great, but the service was quite slow. For a restaurant that has been standing for so long, I think we were expecting a bit more that what we’ve experienced. However, maybe give them a try yourself and see if you’ll get a better experience than what we had.

Super friendly staff, asked us around 5 times about whether there is any issue with the food, of course it taste perfect. 2 entree plus one meat platter for 1 is totally enough for 2 people! The staff suggest Cyprus beer which taste like premium lager, pretty good.Food: 5/5

After 7 yrs we returned to eat here. The staff are warm and friendly, the service is prompt and informative. We ordered the banquet for 2 which was 3 courses. I tried many things I was loathe to trying before & was not disappointed. We did our best, but could not finish the main meal. There was no pressure on us to rush, even though customers had to be turned away. Definitely a must next trip to Melbourne.

I didn't expect the food here to be good but it was actually way better than expected. The grilled octopus was not only tender but also the correct amount of grilled char taste and also tasted amazingly fresh. The meat platter was also amazing because the meat did not taste hard or overcooked and seasoned just right. I came in with low expectations but the food was way better than expected. My friend who often asked questions which are confusing because he can't explain himself very well was also not belittled by the servers. They are also very attentive and kept asking us if we were fine. One thing I didn't like though was that we were seated near the door but that can't be helped I guess as there weren't many sittings on the ground floor and that space happened to be free but it was just annoying that some people were smoking in front of the restaurant and the smoke smell was coming in. Overall, I am actually impressed because I had 0 expectations of it being any good at all but the food and service was way better than expected. The price point is pretty affordable too.

Delicious traditional Greek food. They really how to cook the seafoods and Lamb well. It is run by family and has been there for while. Their sauce is full of flavors.

I have been to this place 3 times now, I try to make it here everytime I am in Melbourne and have never been disappointed!! The staff are amazing, the owner is the cutest old man ever! The food now that is next level. Big portions and just absolutely tasty!! There are other bigger places in the precinct however the home style cooking, the atmosphere is similar to that of being in Greece and is an experience in itself. They have live Greek music in the alleyway on a Friday and Saturday night. Must try this place!!

We had dinner at Tsindos last night and it was incredible the food was just delicious! but the staff and the atmosphere are just something else the staff are so nice and attentive making sure we had everything I couldn't have been happier here. I wish we lived closer I'd definitely be back.

Updated review, We went there again as the first time we enjoyed our time. This time we invited our friend, 9 people in total. The toilet was cleaner than before! But the service was very bad! The food was on the table one by one and 30 min delay between them!! So 2 of our guests had their food, they almost finished their food, after 10 min two more came! They also completely finished their food, 4 more dish came! One salad came last!! there was more than 40 min delay between the first dish and the last dish! They didn’t give us any explanation for this delay, when we were sitting and waiting for our food! When we were leaving, I went and asked owner what was the problem , he said, there was a problem with the computer and kitchen was closing and etc. I understand that things happen, but you need to communicate the problem with ur customers when they are on tables waiting and explain the 40 min delay between foods!! I wont go back again. Old review: Well, the food was great! Very tasty. The atmosphere was great! Loved it, they say something it might be some music and dancing! Service, was really good, friendly! Price, a little bit expensive, but because of the location and portions of food, it was fine! Lots of choice of food and entrées. The only problem was the toilet! It was disgusting, I think it was not cleaned properly since they opened the restaurant! I will be definitely back, and if the toilet is clean, will give them a 5 star! Thanks guys :

From the moment we walked in this beautiful restaurant captured us. The staff are very friendly and seem like family. They had a live band playing and it was a beautiful experience. We were seated in the laneway and decided to get the banquet. No regrets the entre platter had some amazing dips and the mains were a combination of the meat and seafood platter. All the food was amazing. Would recommend trying the banquet to taste all the different food.
