Great place to have a coffee, cake and meals. There is a giftware shop and a nursery. But to me, I visit to see butterflies:
Nice set up, although expensive potted plants, not a bad variety of perennials, citrus, and some lovely camellias and rhododendrons. Very nice metal works and garden ornaments. Lovely gift shop again pricey but some different pieces on display. Coffee shop was busy, lots of decorator pots of all sizes, easy access and plenty of parking.
Well informed and friendly people with a good lot of butterflies and a very good nursery and nursery supplies
Our family had an enjoyable hour or more at Skydancers - twice in three weeks - so it must have been worth going back. The meals were enjoyable but at their price limit. We would not have wanted to pay more for what we received. A bonus was being able to enter the butterfly exhibit free of charge. This was a nice surprise. Very relaxing, a good number of butterflies, although the variety was limited. We visited in April, 2017. There may be more varieties in warmer months. Their ASQ plant sales section was very good as was their gift shop and the grounds surrounding the complex. Skydancers is a nice place for families to visit having something for everyone.
Very pretty nursery featuring a butterfly enclosure. There's a cafe I'll have to eat there next time.

The cafe very disappointing. Slow service, tables dirty, asked for extra hot coffee and scones to share with extra cream and jam. After long wait Coffee was cold, no extra cream and jam, no extra plate , Staff just don't care. The butterflies were lovely The nursery is lush and cool but had no lettuce seedlings in stock gift shop inspiring.
For me All good things in one! Plant nursery, gift shop, great coffee, good choices on the menu, the food is exceptional & efficient friendly service. Sidenote for mums: Not heaps of room - i avoid bringing baby capsule let alone a pram.
This place is very kid friendly. We ordered a tasting plate of cakes, that was very very nice. Coffee was nice and good little playground. The overall place was small, and disappointed with only two butterflies. Prices arent cheap.
What a gem, wonderful menu, fair prices and nice staff who could crack a smile but aside that a great location..do yourself a favour and have a break at Harcourt with a superb coffee and a great meal, no I don't work for them or have an interest financial or anything. Our visitors from Darwin say it's the best in their travels..Give credit where it's due, I'll be back.........
