Excellent value for money. Delicious food and friendly staff

It’s a bit weird when the very first words from the server is “we won’t be taking orders for the next 30 minutes”. Makes you feel like you should leave and they actually suggest that to you. The food is like Mum’s cooking out the back yet it’s described in a kind of pretentious way. It’s apparently successful so it must suit the local taste. I’m not sure how to say this as I don’t usually care less but the weird greeting set the tone for me noticing the clients with no shoes and others with rings through their nose which reinforced my impression that there really is something weird at this place. I wouldn’t go back but I wish them continued success.

Limited breakfast choices, poached eggs were strange textures with soft whites and hard yolk. Coffee was good though. Girl was eating behind the counter while serving a customer

Service could improve,food ok but nothing special had to ask for water for the table.

Great café/restaurant. Unusual menu choices, I had the Kedgeree which was very tasty.
