I think we must have been here close to closing time, so we didn’t get the full experience. We were after cake and coffee. They just gestured at the cabinet, and I had to ask what things were. Then remember what I could, and go back to the table to relay it to my partner. My muffin was nice, but I don’t know now what was in it.
Good food, good coffee and nice atmosphere. The internal layout is pretty tight and wouldn't suit a visit with prams/strollers, but in warmer weather there is a sunny spot out front that is perfect.
The restaurant has changed owners & the website has not been updated to reflect the changes to the menu. It seems the cafe & restaurant currenly have the same casual dining menu. Our food was just OK - not worth the drive from Melbourne unlike the hatted dining we were expecting would have been.
Tasty, sophisticated food that is reasonably priced considering the quality and unique flavours of some of the dishes, and high-quality of service we received. The Pumpkin Pie dessert was amazing!
Meh. Beef Burger was practically raw and the bacon and caramelised onion were hardly cooked. Salt & pepper squid was also undercooked and served with an overly sweet chilli sauce. Disappointing for the price and what should be simple dishes. Staff seemed more interested in hanging out with each other than serving.
I love my little sister! She opens every day from 7am for coffee breakfast and lunch, then turns into a casual Bar at night with a simple dinner menu.
Such a wonderful atmosphere, the food is amazing especially those hash browns the coffee is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. Excellent place for brekky.
Great atmosphere and lovely converted building however the place lacked warmth and friendliness from the wait staff. Food was ok but limited selection and small servings for the price.
Excellent coffee and allowed half serves on meals, which is great as I don’t have a huge appetite.
I found the coffee was very good. The food is fair to good but I suppose like most cafes in rural areas, overpriced for what is delivered on the plate.
