Story

Das Kaffeehaus is an ode to Vienna, the heart land. With it's rich furnishings and extravagant decor, even the simplest pleasure of drinking coffee is an experience. With a menu that stays true to Viennese culture, you can sit back and enjoy a moment straight out of a Viennese Kaffeehaus without even leaving the country.

The Schaerf family have been a leading name in the central European coffee industry for over 50 years. Coffee Basics brings this dedication and experience to all their products. Roasting coffee on site at Das Kaffeehaus and selling house and custom made blends through retail and wholesale. Our roastery team are dedicated to bringing you the best quality coffee money can buy.

Amazing food- the goulash was stunning. Amoungst our table of 7- everything was delicious and there were no complaints. even my 3 yo enjoyed the mini frankfurters. A little tricky to find if you havent been there before, plenty of parking out the back and beautiful seating. The staff were lovely.

Interesting decor. Decent coffee and cakes. Feels a bit too touristy and expensive for me. Worth a visit if you are alreday at the mill. The mill area itself is cool

Delicious coffee and varied menu. Indoor and outdoor seating options so flexible for a relaxing break. Always good service.

Fantastic German food and a funky environment. Great service and can't believe i was able to order a liverwurst kaiser roll 😍 will be back with my mum and aunty who are German.
