Bridge Hotel Castlemaine

Nice pub but not a country style pub if you are looking for that feel. Very nice brothers running the place now and some excellent live music. The generic beer selection is s bit underwhelming.

Great pub with good selection of beers (including some local brews) on tap plus a local cider. Food was fantastic with good gluten free options. Beautiful, relaxed beer garden that was kid friendly.

New owners have given it a revamp in the beer garden. Looks great. A much improved atmosphere since the reopening. I haven't had a meal yet but they look great and and all reports are very positive. Forgot to get some photos, will do next trip.

in a wheelchair. Straightforward access to the bar/dining area. The beer garden needs the gate at the side to be unlocked but, once inside, all surfaces good.

Sorry to say but the Monday night special menu wasn't up to scratch. I usually love the bridge but the menu of a hamburger only, was average and raw. With not even bar snacks available had to take the kids for take away after.. Staff friendly and courtyard well set up, will try another night....
