Story

Run Rabbit Run features simple, delicious and wholesome food for Breakfast and lunch Wednesday to Sunday and dinner Friday and Saturday nights as well. Our wood fire roasted coffee is quite extraordinary with beautiful caramel undertones. Where we can we source our wines locally including Mt Alexander, Harcourt Valley, Welshmans Reef and Maldon. Where possible we will cater to your dietary needs with a range of vegetarian, vegan and GF options.

Delicious crispy and generous corn fritter with bacon, avocado and a fresh salsa. Beautifully presented. Iced chocolate which preceded it was also right on the money. Service from Helen was also thoughtful. Only negative was that they wouldn't allow two of us to sit at a table of four which wasn't taken whilst we were there by the window.
A rustic “nugget of gold” in the heart of historic Castlemaine. We were welcomed by friendly locals, a passionate barista and thoroughly enjoyed a hearty brunch, wonderful coffee and local Castlemaine hospitality.
Cute one of the local cafe in the town..Went on a Wednesday some shops operate only from Wed up to Saturday.. A nice drive out of Melbourne.Coffee good n cakes offered we got something salted Carmel sweet cake one serve.You can serve 2 people can easy share.
Best eggs & bacon. Lovely people. Ambience of this Cafe is wonderful. Beautiful vintage bridal exhibition upstairs. If you're in Castlemaine you must go to Run Rabbit Run
Stopped here for a quick breakfast on the way through Castlemaine and so glad we picked here. Friendly, fast and delicious.... even though i couldn't find a negative i gave it 4 stars because i very rarely deal out 5 stars haha
Popped in for a coffee and a croissant. Best cafe ever! Absolutely delicious coffee and I haven’t had such a good croissant since I was last in France. Can’t recommend Run Rabbit Run enough. They also have a load of goods to buy, we brought a birthday card awesome design of native birds. If you’re passing through Castlemaine, this is definitely where you want to stop.

Super friendly staff, great coffee and amazing brekky burger!
A smaller range menu means quality of what is available. Come hungry as portion size is generous. Highly recommended
