Place is nothing like the photos. Dark, old and unclean....and so much smaller than what the photos make it look. I found a shoe under the single bed, a sock and a toothpick under the couch (moved it so it was in front of the TV). The chopping board in the kitchen is disgusting, the stove top knobs to turn the heat on had grime and old food around them. There was grime and hair on the wall next to the toilet roll... this is what I've found after being here for only 1hr. Will not be staying here again. Only wish I could post photos. UPDATE. I advised reception about grime and hair on wall and toilet wall, the shoe, sock and toothpick. Shoe, sock and toothpick were taken, wall was left and not washed. I have now washed the wall and toilet roll holder myself, as it was just disgusting. Upon going to cook our meal, I found horrid grime around the knobs for the hot plates and washed them as well. I also refused to use the cutting board as it has melted cheese and who knows what else on it. It also is very discoloured and looks very old. The knives ends are all bent or broken off. The utensils used for cooking are all melted and dirty, I again refused to use them. I honesty do not know why it is so hard to clean a room. The room I stayed in was 3511. The bench was marked and chopped paint everywhere, ther's no DVD player or satellite tv of any kind.

Had to argue with staff about pre arranged change to booking (they suddenly had no record of it). To be fair, they eventually came through, but it took them 24hrs what it would usually take a hotel five minutes. Accommodation was very basic, fridge was very noisy. Ongoing renovations are not doing them any favours either. If you're in the city for a relaxing weekend, spend the extra $50 and go somewhere more relaxing.

Pretty small living room area. Bedrooms are big enough for a double bed. Cleaniless not always on the goodside; cockroaches can be expected.

Really f**king place that I suggest u never choose.Room is poor and need upgrade.Arrow intended to move some appliances live oven out.What ever it is long term or short.Never choose it again.Some underbred staff with very bad attitude to customers like making u wait for 15 mine and then he finished call with his gf! I think this f**king place should be given a new name which is error on Swanston.if u wanna be angry and pissed off.That ur first choice bro.

Very small reception and corridors. Building works occurring at this time. Staff could be a little more friendly especially to young overseas students staying here and checking in.
