Arrived at the bank doors on 2nd January when everywhere else in the world banks consider it normal to open, however doors firmly shut and no clue as to when they may open again - only 'Christmas Hours' posted. Also nothing to say whether there was any other ANZ bank open anywhere near. When will NZ wake up and realize not everyone is on holiday over this time and 'get with the program' This everything shutting down over the first weeks of the new year is enough to drive a foreigner out of the country but perhaps that's what you all want.
