If you really love your pet, try to find another veterinarian like we are doing. Our pet arrived injured last night at their clinic. We have called this morning to ask what was wrong, apart from the fact that they have not given us much information. The only thing that they have told us clearly is that we had to pay $10,000 without knowing if they were going to be able to save his life. He has her leg broken. We have felt really annoyed with the person who has attended us. Because we have called her again in the afternoon and she only told us that if she was the cat this morning it was $10,000. This clinic seems inhumane to me and I think they only care about money, not your animal or the feelings of its owner. We are looking at more clinical hospitals against the clock. Thank you for your kind response and your little empathy! I hope you can sleep with a clear conscience… Finally we found an amazing vet: BRISBANE VET SURGERY, they were so amazing, professional and animal lovers!! His big surgery was very well and Chico is recovering now at home thanks to them!! ‍ I recommended 100% BRISBANE PET SURGERY if you love your pet. They are at 50 Theodore street, Eagle Farm QLD 4009
The team at this clinic are so caring and compassionate. My poor gorgeous girl had a seizure and as soon as we arrived we were seen by Dr Geoff, who was so incredible and took such great care of her. As soon as test results came in I was called and informed, and my beautiful girl has been feeling much better since her time at the clinic. Thank you so much to the team
We had to bring our cat into AES twice recently for a serious medical issue, and could not have been more impressed by the care, compassion, and professionalism we received from the entire team from start to finish. Both Carmen and Megan at reception were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and reassuring, putting us at ease during a very stressful time. While the vets, Chloe and Taylor, along with the amazing nursing staff, are absolute credits to their profession. Attentive and thorough, going above and beyond to support us and keep us informed every step of the way, while providing exceptional care to our fur child as if he were their own. He could not have been in better hands, and is now back to his happy, healthy self. So grateful to you all for the incredible work that you do!
I would highly recommend Jindalee Animal Emergency Service. It's never easy to bring your pet in for an emergency. All the staff are very calm and caring in a tough situation. Lachlan was incredible when I brought George in and I was a bit of a mess especially since I had to leave him overnight. I knew he was in great hands and luckily I was able to bring him home the next morning.
These people charged us thousands of dollars to make our boy wait, then provided medical care I believe too late and in the opposite order that other vets recommend to save the boy, they then discharged our boy to early to a vet without the facilities to adequately care on the 24hr basis required the result is they killed my boy death by vet, I suggest you go somewhere else the condition my boy arrived in he should have come home, but he never will. Some people have pets ours was a member of the family not a pet but a mate. I will say the admissions nurse was ok she identified the problem straight away it was the after admission which was pathetic. I will say they were very good at collecting the money. The more I read the more it is obvious these guys had not the clue, simple things perhaps they can handle the difficult stuff beyond say nail clipping I would not ever trust them again so give your 5 stars for minor treatments but when it gets serious this is not the vet for you. I believe if you are the owner or the representative of the owner you would well know the name of the patient that your vets killed through negligence, I understand why you want to engage me to enable your passive aggressive defence, the dog was at your centre for almost 8 hours it would appear after initial diagnosis was provided before treatment was provided I am sure your records will support that, I visited the patient before I went homeI offered to assist in what needed to be done if your staff were to busy, I was told verbatim he was a priority patient, clearly was not. I was told he was on a drip when I visited him some 2hrs after we arrived at 10.10am there was to my recollection no evidence of a drip. I am saying from what I could see and witnessed 8+ hrs of of no treatment, combined with poor to grossly negligent after treatment and patient management, a deliberate failure to tret until payment had been requested payment was made immediately the request was made. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland, I will be requesting disciplinary action against those involved aswell as a complete refund, your business requested payment to proceed, they were paid and then failed to act appropriately, as a result my dog died a most horrible death due to the poor decision made by your staff. We once visited your practice due to a bout of Panosteitis we were turned away we were told this is an emergency hospital and this was not an emergency due to this I tried another Sunday vet they did not open that day, if not for the previous rejection I would have been at your facility 2 hours earlier, however based on the performance the result is likely to have been the same. Please sorry is too late it will not change the way your staff performed it will not bring my boy back however a complaint if followed through correctly may change they way you conduct yourselves in the future. The proof you already know the name of our pet is you requested the name of our dog, how do you know it was a dog I never mentioned dog or cat in my first stage of comment, how did you come to the conclusion it was a dog, lies come to freely to you and your associates don't they. The Vet assessment shows mild to moderate in all assessments all there advise was followed, the dog was sent to our normal vet as instructed at release, release was at your facilities instruction not our request. Documents show all bills were paid. My second youngest daughter worked at Middle Park Vet Surgery as a vet assistant, she has seen the the tick site, cannot understand how it took hours to find the tick, cannot understand why he sat in a crate for hours before he was actively treated. I am not being stupid or unreasonably vexatious about this however these people killed my dog through negligent veterinary care there will be more to be posted about this. The photo of my dog is the afternoon before admission and 2.5 days before his passing.
Dr Taylor was absolutely delightful to deal with. We were very concerned about our puppy, but he put our minds at rest and explained all of the processes and procedures to us in language we could understand. Every single member of staff that we dealt with was wonderful, compassionate and caring. We also witnessed this same level of treatment towards other pets and their owners. We were very comfortable leaving our pup in the care of staff there while he received is treatment. We collected him and were given a full rundown of what the issues were, what treatments he had received and what ongoing medications he required. All of this was given to us in writing as well. Costs were explained clearly and we felt they were very reasonable. We were given options that would have allowed us to save a few dollars, but we felt so much trust in Dr Taylor that we followed his recommendation for optimal care. I would recommend Dr Taylor and animal emergency service at Jindalee to absolutely anyone who has an issue with any animal.
Last Sunday my dachshund puppy swallowed a sewing needle. My neighbour drove us to the Emergency Service at Jindalee. The people there were wonderful, compassionate, understanding and professional. They warned of expected costs, assured me I had done the right thing bringing him in, and treated the puppy with gentleness and kindness. Meagan and Leah were calm and empathic. Dr Taylor was considerate, took pains to explain the procedure to remove the needle, and said I could phone any time to check on his progress. We picked the puppy up at 6 a.m. the next morning. He was very sleepy but has since improved out of sight and still puts everything in his mouth! When I received a message asking how he was, that just confirmed my high opinion of the service and the people who work there. I just wish Dr Taylor could be our regular vet - he was awesome. Thank you ALL so very much. It is a relief to know you are there. You are appreciated. Gratefully your new client.
Our little girl Stitch, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, had to stay overnight after being treated for a brown snake bite. Our local vets recommended AES. Thank you all for saving our girls life. She made a 100% recovery. Dr Chloe was fantastic, as were all the staff who were super busy with other emergencies. Yes, we had to pay $1,000 up front, but it was well worth every cent. I love the honesty and care you guys gave us and our dog.
I just want to thank the amazing vets who took care of our beautiful old boy Tonto tonight. I have never come across a more compassionate, sensitive and empathetic team. It was obviously a very upsetting time for us and you have no idea how much we value and appreciate the effort that was put in to making our boy's final moments as peaceful and as comfortable as possible. They were very transparent and honest with us about the situation. I can't imagine how hard it must be to tell people such bad news about their best mates, it's never easy on either side, but Phillip and I truly appreciate the pure empathy we received tonight. Would 100% recommend visiting this hospital if your four legged friend is ever in trouble.
On arrival the triage nurse met us. She had a wealth of knowledge and empathy. While I waited in the reception, I noticed how well she cared for each client who entered the clinic. She took many phone calls, taking time to discuss clients issues over the phone. In addition, throughout this extremely busy shift, she had a Good Samaritan being an injured bird. Although I could see she was swampy with work, she took time to explain the birds age, condition and breed. I was in awe watching how well this nurse worked alone on this busy night. The vet was also empathetic to my situation. She contacted specialists to ensure my dog received the best treatment. The people who work here see sad situations all day everyday. Yet, they are supportive, caring and hard working. 5 stars and then 5 more !
