Dr Kelly and the other staff at this vet were so lovely and helpful when we had an emergency with our cat last weekend. He ate some of my partner's medication and we absolutely panicked and pretty much flew over to them in the car, the only place open on a Sunday! They kept us calm and we were so reassured that our boy was in such good and safe hands. The only down side was the price, which was only an issue as we are students and have just spent all our savings moving to Brisbane from Melbourne. The price wasn't exorbitant very reasonable for this kind of emergency care and accounted for the treatment but we couldn't admit our cat for observation and further possible treatment unfortunately. However, Dr. Kelly found solutions for us immediately and we weren't made to feel pressured or judged. She gave us wonderful advice about further care when taking our boy home. He's absolutely fine now and we are so grateful! Thank you so much for not only looking after our boy but also us : Here are some photos of him from the last few days, healthy and back to normal!

I can’t thank the team enough for all their help, care and support through such a stressful weekend. i rushed my fur baby Jetson in after he was bitten by a paralysis tick and wasn’t doing very well. The team wasted no time and got straight to helping him out and providing the best care; The constant support and updates throughout his stay were absolutely amazing, we knew he was in the best hands with your team - everyone who we met and got to speak to were amazing! It’s now been two weeks since his stay and he is pretty much all back to his normal cheeky self and we appreciate the check-ins from the team to see how he’s doing. the team is absolutely incredible and we couldn’t recommend them more :

Dr Sara was amazing with our darling girl. Although the outcome was not what we had hoped for, Dr Sara tried very hard to ensure she was kept comfortable and helped us when it was time to say goodbye. My concerns were always taken seriously and we explored every option to get her diagnosis which was a rare terminal disease. I cant thank Dr Sara and the team enough for all that they did for us and our girl.

Sadly my puppy was hit by a car late Sunday afternoon, when we called the clinic the team where nothing but helpful which left us at ease, when bring her in the team where already waiting to takeover and give her the best care, leaving her there overnight, the teams communication with us was nothing but amazing, she was definitely in the right place getting the best care. Thank you to Dr Claire and all the team at AES, not only for the caring behaviour given and communicated throughout but the follow up now that we are home safe and resting.

Amazing emergency vets! Highly recommend. Took our puppy late Sunday night, as there was an issue with her mouth and the wait time was short and the vet was fantastic. Diagnosed the issue which was a bee stinger stuck in her tongue. Ella had to be sedated, but they laid out the full costs to me and all the options before they proceeded. Fingers crossed I will not need an emergency vet again, but if I do, it's the only place I would take Ella.

Over the years I've been unfortunate enough to need emergency care for my dogs several times, and every time the service and care for my dogs has been wonderful. The entire team from the desk to the vets and nurses do an amazing job in what can be an incredibly challenging job. Big thanks to the entire team for my last visit with the cheeky Seamus who got into some raisin bread.

Our experience with AES was all positive, the staff are great. From the moment we walked in with our hopping dog, Barra, she was treated as a priority getting wheeled into the hospital which was full of needy pets but clean and orderly. Our girl was assessed and given pain relief before being returned to us to wait for our consult. We appreciated this as being able to see and wait with our dog was easier than waiting and not knowing. There were some very emotional people in the waiting areas, I watched every staff member treat them with patience, respect and kindness. In a busy emergency service with a regular vet attached there were lots of animals coming and going, the extra care given to anxious and reactive dogs was awesome to see. Doc Ben was our allocated vet, he was wonderful. He has a great 'beside manner' and explained everything really well and offered good advice. We appreciate him looking at Barra hips at the same time as her sore paw, turns out it confirmed our concerns so now we can get into proactive care for Barra's hips. He called us an explained the treatment plan for her fractured carpal bone, so we knew what to expect. Doc Georgie explained the aftercare plan for Barra really well and answered all our questions. After awakening on a Sunday morning and finding our 10 yr old "super cool, somewhat loopy at times" boarder collie cross bleeding from what we now suspect was a snake bite, these great compassionate staff/ vets were just the best. Sadly our dog wasn't able to be saved but but the care they took not just of our dog, but of me, the maco mature male who was barely condoling myself. Thanks guys for making a sad situation easier for myself

I woke in the middle of the night to my dog, Dozer, laying semi conscious after earlier bouts vomiting. Thank heaven Animal Emergency was open . I raced him to emergency, and thankfully, he was okay. The night team was very helpful, stepping me through the diagnosis and presented options for his ongoing health. The team was friendly and professional, certainly not cheap, but what vet isn't? Thank you for taking good care of my boy!

I just want to give a huge shout out to Dr Kayla. She is a incredible vet. it was clear that she is so passionate about her work. We attended the clinic on an extremely busy night, and even with the huge patient load at the time, she was incredibly patient, taking time to discuss all my options for treating my dog and wanting the best for his treatment. She was so lovely and informative. I cannot say enough good things about her. Fantastic vet with so much care for her furry patients!
