Great place great price much bigger after they renovated more reasonable price than BCF. Most staff are extremely helpful, but the teenage girls working at reception on weekends never seem to have a very good day .nAnd it’s not the first time that it happened even, before you relocated I had a few encounters where you say hello or how are you to the teenage ladies working at the checkout and you get nothing back just nothing. Not a very nice attitude.nI do think they universally does this to everybody, the old couple that was checking out next to me experienced the same thing.nDoesn’t give me a very pleasant feeling but overall, I like the store.
They had the product we were looking for, but had absolutely terrible customer service. we stood waiting in queue while one of the two girls there was busy, and the other one kept looking over at us but not making it clear if she was free to serve us or not, before snapping 'what?' and then when we asked her if she could serve she vaguely gestured to a nearby customer instead. when Hannah, the other girl, called us over she had a very unimpressed attitude, and when we asked her to collect our click and collect she literally threw it onto the bench to slide over to us. didn't catch the other girls name but holistically a really negative customer service experience all around
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Anaconda Preston, thanks to Amyn and Oscar. These two went above and beyond in helping me with fishing information, and their knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm made a huge difference.nnNot only did they provide expert advice on the best gear and techniques, but they also took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring I had the right setup for my needs. Their customer service was exceptional—they were friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about helping customers.nnIt’s rare to find staff who are this dedicated and willing to go the extra mile. Because of Amyn and Oscar, I left the store feeling confident and excited to put my new fishing knowledge to the test. If you’re looking for top-notch service and expert advice, these two are the best!nnHuge thanks to Amyn and Oscar—I’ll definitely be back!
Read my entire review to know the reason for 5 stars:nThey made our return process super easy. The item was faulty but Anaconda Boxhill demanded a week to attend to it!nWe needed to buy a new one and this branch refunded us on the spot. Easy nHaving said that, please note that in general, Anaconda is not the best out there. There are better brands.
Don’t necessarily blame them, but staff seem miserable and are very hard to find for assistance. Locked cases should be nearer the front of the store instead of having to walk across the store multiple times to ask for someone to assist and unlock the cases. When they did show up, the staff member helped someone else who’d just walked up instead of helping me first as I’d been waiting. If staff were more supported by management and not so thin on the ground I’m sure the customer service experience would be better!
