I've been insured by Allianz for quite a long time. Only ever made 2 claims through them, and both times were handled exceptionally well. Including a theft of my vehicle, the contact was great and they paid me out within a couple of weeks. I still have my policy with them now and will continue to be insured by them.
Quick response, it only took one day for the customer service officer to reply my email which I'm happy with. Prices of the health insurance package are reasonable and cheaper than the other providers. Would highly recommend Allianz Care.
My new insurance provider cancelled my policy with Allianz on my behalf, but I was still charged twice more - the second one at a higher rate! I contacted Allianz on two separate occasions and my enquires of a refund was completely ignored. Every time someone new would email me back telling me they have stopped my direct debit payments and asking if I would like to cancel my policy... I have had to contact my bank to prevent Allianz from charging me further and their finance department have requested a refund for the incorrect charges. Allianz charge more than most insurance companies, their coverage is below average, the customer service is rubbish, and making a claim is tedious. Save yourself the time and money and choose a better insurance!
What’s quicker? Watching paint dry or getting your Allianz insurance claim sorted? Watching a house being built would be quicker!!! Our roof leak claim put in and approved back in May… it’s now September and still the roof leaks.. never had any issues with my previous insurer NRMA when in QLD. Allianz might be worth learning off yr QLD counterparts!!!! Would not recommend to anyone…. 0 star if possible!
If you are looking for an insurer I wouldn’t choose Allianz. My experience is when there is a serious issue they will delay you for months and months, be impossible to contact and do everything they can not to pay the claim. Our whole experience has been absolutely appalling. Head up if you don’t lodge formal complaints they won’t even respond.
Trying to make a claim has taken over 8 months. Meanwhile, I’m mourning the death of my baby girl and the company could not care less. Rude and terrible service. This is also after they raised my premiums 15%. Respect yourself and don’t fall victim. I can’t believe I’m saying Amii is better
Contacted Allianz for an accident I wasn’t at fault for. I had all the information from the person who had accidentally hit my car so there was no issues there. Contacting was fine and I got everything I needed easy until after the phone call ended and I was phoned by the crash repair company figuring out a time I was able to come in with my damaged car for a quote. I was quick to inform them that I wasn’t at fault, my parked car was hit and the gentleman on the phone informed me that Allianz didn’t mention anything of an insurance claim or that my car was getting towed. Fast forward to when the tow truck arrived and Allianz had given the details of the car to be picked up but it was the car that had hit mine. He was still able to tow my car to the place to get repaired. Went to once again call Allianz to make sure they they have the correct details for my vehicle but no answer for a long time until I was able to get my call transferred after dealing with the person on the phone that would not listen at all to what had happened. I just wanted to double check that all the information was correct so my car can get fixed without any issues and they’ve made it so difficult. If I was to ever get into an accident with an Allianz customer again I would take my vehicle to a crash repairers myself and send them the bill. Terrible service from Allianz, very long wait times and no attention to detail.
35 MINUTES AND COUNTING. Transferred once. Chatting to the new operator now for 10 minutes, again twice on hold. All I want to do is cancel my house insurance as the house has sold. One would think this would be an easy task? Asked for a reference number for the call, too hard it seems, on hold again?
They are here to rip off money. Dont go with them. I was getting charged $288 dollar for a insaurance policy whose orignal price is 135. They will secretly email you that price has gone up. They started from 135 and reached to $288, although price on website mentions 135. Then i emailed to cancel policy from next month. No reply from them. Next month they charged me again.unbelievable. On emailing the proof about my email and my insurance policy with other company for my refund, and clearly mentioning the date they cancelled my policy with date 2 day after my month start so that they dont have to refund. Feels like a scam. And they have 2 hours of waiting time. I would never go for it.
For the past five months, I have been following up with them regarding the reimbursement of a valid insurance claim for my children. I'm disappointed that they haven't escalated the case to the relevant focal. Such a low rate of complaints being resolved, and no quality control is in place. I believe there is a lack of a proper customer service structure that addresses client issues.
