Staff helpful but I’m left with a very bitter taste after my second purchase from them. Bought an item new online and then after expecting it to have been delivered I was told bluntly that there’s only one left, it’s ex demo and I can have a $20 discount if I still want it. This after I bought it new online...

[Response to Jesse: Thanks for the response. I appreciate your predicament but it doesn't diminish my experience. It's tough trying to get into hi-fi when not near enough stores to sample what you need to. So discount or not, every purchase is very well researched and buying is based on the price listed (I would never have bought it at full price due to some feature deficits and an inability to trial it first). So for me i was paying what i thought appropriate (for my situation) and to find out others got new ones and I'm left with a demo is a disappointment. That said I really like your store and will be shopping again with you.]

Great selection of equipment, helpful staff and they have an excellent range of headphones and earphones you can look and touch rather than just examine the box as many other retailers do.

Delivery from the warehouse (online order) is very quick (next day). The sales team also didn't object at all to me leaving empty handed with the intention of purchasing from their online store instead.

I'm an out-of-town buyer who'd been in touch with Guillaume from 3-4 days ago, for a purchase of Sony's WH-1000XM2. The last email I received today before leaving for a long walk/run from the Pullman on the Park was this, 

"Hi Aaron,

OK, we're running a little low but I've set aside a unit for you. Please let us know if anything else comes up today."

I replied two hours later, after waking up, to inform I'd be in the store by 3pm. I arrived by 2:15pm only to be told they had none left!

Guillaume said, before I left, "I don't want to make a promise I can't keep", as he mentioned when the next shipment would be in! The irony!

Edit (6:08pm, 13 Feb): Appreciate that immediate action that was taken to address my post and I've updated the review to reflect said action. Thank you, George and Jesse for everything!

Awesome guys, helped me out with a decision on a new av receiver as well as some headphones. No pressure on the sales side at all (they just let me chill and listen to some music), good knowledge on the products (thanks Jesse!), just a great all around experience! I'm sure I'll be back for some more kit in the future.

An excellent store for high end audio gear. The staff were warm, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. They were happy to let me try headphones with my own DAP. If you want a place where you can listen to premium headphones without talking to staff this is not the place for you due to the set-up of the store. But Stefan was happy to assist, left me alone to listen and I never felt pressured to buy. Highly recommended.
