Z - Otahuhu - Service Station

went to use the bathroom buying a drink Indian lady staff member said cannot use the other customer toilet with a sign saying customer only as want for staff only, but only other toilet has a broken seat had no toilet paper and still refused service.nblames it on the area and normal customers being rough.

My husband went to Z Petrol Station in Ōtāhuhu to order a coffee. We were very concerned when the staff member handled the rubbish bin without washing her hands, and then immediately started making coffee. When my husband kindly asked her to wash her hands, particularly because I’m pregnant, she refused. This lack of basic hygiene and disregard for customer safety was extremely disappointing and unsettling.

9:30pm Tuesday 25th of June 2024. Girl on service has award winning customer service skills. Went above and beyond. Answered all my questions with a friendly smile. 5 stars. Awesome.

Used to go here every morning. Should not be called a “service station”. There is no service , when you go inside you get ignored , not even a word from the people behind the counter. I stood there for 5 minutes waiting to buy something while the women made a coffee for someone that wasn’t even there, I needed up leaving. Person did not even recognise I existed , not even a “hello”. Often homeless people hanging around outside too asking for money . I will never return.

I would give this place no stars if I could. The Indian lady who works as the cashier needs to learn customer service skills because I swear to God one day something will happen for starters she’s rude second she does not listen. She made so many mistakes at the pump today, and it’s not the first time where she will even respond rude or just not help you at all. If she doesn’t like working in this country, she’s more than welcome to go back home. I don’t mean that with any disrespect, but whoever manages the Z station put her and check before someone else does next time rather than hiring with the family get someone with customer service experience to run the store.
