Good experience. It’s my second time hiring a car from YES. The price is reasonable and the car is clean and neat. I would recommend to my friends. Although the car parking is not inside the airport but the shuttle bus is very convenient :

Pretty happy with the overall experience with Yes Rentals Queenstown. The team could be contacted via WeChat upon arrival at Queenstown Airport for pick up by the Shuttle. The staff are not a very chatty bunch but they get the job done efficiently. The inside of the Aqua we had was very clean including the baby seat. The car does not have a GPS or a functional head unit, so a phone holder or portable AA unit is recommended.nnJust some feedback for the staff: For rentals that include child seats, maybe prep the car i.e. set up the baby seat before the customer arrives so that we don't have to wait around, especially with a baby.

Generally quite impressed. Toyota Aqua was not new and had a bit of mileage on it but was very well maintained and drove well. Price was very reasonable including excess reduction. Staff not friendly but did what they had to. Shuttle bus was efficient although location is a bit of a drive consider what traffic can be like in afternoon.  Overall no issues at all.

I had a great experience with this rental. I am usually not the one to use a 'local' company for car hire, but the prices are so low, including all the insurance that it's really hard to beat. I just needed a car to get to tracks and hotels and this little Toyota Aqua does the job perfect for the Queenstown area. The car itself is in good shape for the miles. It's completely ugly inside and out but very easy to park, fits luggage for 2 people, and efficient. I spent very little on gas consumption, which is very expensive in NZ.

Good price and service. Not located in airport but free shuttle service to pick you up. Toyota Aqua was nice and very fuel efficient.
