Hired a small Toyota Vitz hybrid for 15 days driving 3000km around the South Island NZ. Very economical and easy to drive. Omega Rentals were great to deal with. Airport shuttle was easy to find.
I recently booked two cars for an 18-day trip — one in the North Island and the other in the South Island. I must say, I was impressed with the impeccable service and their fast response time throughout the process.nnThe car I received in the North Island was a brand new Rav4 hybrid, and driving it was a pleasure — it was smooth as butter! However, the Rav4 I picked up in the South Island was a bit older and appeared to have not been serviced on time. Additionally, it wasn't completely clean when I picked it up, though I want to emphasize it wasn't excessively dirty.nnDespite this minor setback with the South Island vehicle, my overall experience was good, and I would definitely recommend omega.nnForgot to add that their pricing was competitive compared to others. Definitely a major plus point!nnIf I ever come back to NZ i know which travels i would be booking with :-
We hired the Yaris which was an excellent car throughout the whole week. Windscreen became chipped while driving on the highway but with the Gold insurance, was a stress-free claim and professionally handled. Excellent value and would definitely recommend
Our family hired a Toyota highlander and we got a discount because the previous person returned the car with a cosmetic damage to the front, but it did not affect the drive at all. A shuttle bus was provided for the short trip the airport.nGreat service from the friendly Omega team, we highly recommend it!!!
The booking process was easy and straight forward. Competitive rate, for the vehicle and dates we required. Instructions for the pickup service from Queenstown airport was easy to understand. Vehicle was clean and in very good condition. We had no issues at all. Would definitely book through Omega Car Rentals - Queenstown again.
