This car rental company is very budget. I rented a nearly new car this time, with only 1,200 kilometers on it. Returning the car was also very convenient, and they have a van to deliver us to the airport.

Rented a Toyota Fortuner with Apex Car Rentals from Christchurch and returning it in Queenstown during our 14 days stay in South Island. Car were in very good condition and comfortable to drive. Staffs were very friendly and helpful from collecting car to returning car. Good service, I will definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to rent a car in South Island!

I took your car Nissan Xtrail. Had a pleasant driving experience.  Your staff, all of them were very courteous and informative. I forgot my phone in the phone holder while dropping off the car at about 5am this morning and remembered only after I dropped the keys in the drop box. Sadie your team member was very kind and resourceful in couriering it to my address in Auckland. Deeply grateful

Had no issues whatsoever with the car and Apex in general.nThe attendant also explained how to setup the chains on the tyre, and that gave me quite a lot of confidence in case I needed to put the chains.nThe place is like a 5 minute walk from the airport so you don't need to wait for the shuttle. Because it does take a while, we didn't bother waiting for it and just walked instead and ended up arriving earlier than the people that did wait.

Good price, good car, nice staff. Short walk from terminal.nUpon return, staff surprised and disappointed me upon return saying there may be a charge for more fuel. The gauge read full ABOVE the full mark, but not quite as far above the full mark as the photos showed from pickup. I drove 2 km from the BP station fill up. She marked her ledger at 90% full and prepared me to expect a few liters charge for fuel.nnAddendum:nCustomer service manager responded promptly to my inquiry and resolved all issues. No extra charges rendered. Excellent service recovery kept this a 5-star experience.
