After quite a bit of research, we chose Snap Rentals even though it’s not located at the airport—and it turned out to be a great decision. Queenstown is small, and their complimentary shuttle was prompt, with vehicles constantly running between the airport and the rental office. If you’re waiting for the shuttle, simply exit via the door on the right side of the terminal where the Jetstar check-in area is, and you’ll find the pickup point. The driver was friendly and helped load all our luggage with ease.nnAlthough there was a small queue at the counter mostly from passengers arriving on the same flight, the process was efficient. We were on the road within 15–20 minutes.nnI had planned to rent snow chains, but the staff took the time to understand my route and check the weather forecast before honestly advising that I wouldn’t need them. I appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell unnecessary extras and mentioned I could always return to rent chains later if conditions changed.nnI’d also recommend taking their full insurance. It’s competitively priced and offers peace of mind. Even if you book through a third-party website, you can still add the insurance when you collect the car.nnOverall, the service was transparent, efficient, and customer-focused. I would recommend them to friends if they ever travel to NZ.
Awesome service!!!! From the start, I was reassured that the vehicle I had chosen Toyota Highlander…very roomy!for our travels in New Zealand would suit us well as we were travelling with 2 bicycles and all of our gear. The pick up at the airport was prompt as they had our flight details and their driver Alex was great in helping us load up. James, at the front desk, went through our rental agreement and helped us load our vehicle. And so, our journey begins!

I am very happy with the service and quality of the cars. I've rented a Toyota Yaris Hybrid and Corolla Petrol, and was very happy with the state of the vehicles. Very clean, Yaris was brand new. The puck up/ drop off is fuss free and easy, and the price of full cover is very competitive compared to other providers. There is a shuttle to and from the airport every 15 minutes. Very happy with my experience and will be returning
Thanks Snap for an easy car rental - communication was great and we were able to hire a car in queenstown from 2-6th July.nnWe needed a couple more hours extention as we were stuck at the Remarkables and they were super helpful.nnThank you for your help. We werent able to book the van for pick up and drop off as it was too close to 5pm but we loved having a car in queenstown.nnI did a lot of research for booking this car and Snap Rentals was the best choice by far, the price, the reviews and the service.. The staff we dealt with at pick up and drop off were the best.nnHighly recommend and we will definitely use Snap Rentals all the time
