Highly recommended! I’ve read heaps of reviews and checked numerous car rental websites before choosing Go Rentals. They made process of booking and managing the order very smooth and clear loved both website and app, my lovely and efficient Toyota Yaris 2023 was in great condition and at reasonable price, and above all that - customer service was impeccable - all my questions were answered very promptly including measuring the boot .
The cars are right outside the front door of the terminal. Quick and simple pickup and even easier drop off. A special thank you to Heidi who I never met but fixed us up to get our car when our flight from Auckland was delayed and we were arriving after business hours. All the documents and inspection photos are electronic and they have lockboxes for picking up the keys after business hours.
Upon drop off of my vehicle in Queenstown, the attendant did not look over the car with me before my departure. Instead, she took the key and told me I was good to go. I found this odd, so I took a video of the exterior of the car and saw no damage. A few hours later, I received an additional $80 charge for a “chip” in the windshield. The photo they sent me was barely visible and had a circle on the driver’s side.nnVehicle was nice, and the price was competitive, but be wary of additional charges after drop off. ESPECIALLY if you drop off in a different city.nnI’m disappointed in you Go Rental.
After some research comparing different rental companies, I found Go Rentals prices were by far the best. They had a good range of vehicles to choose from and had exactly what we wanted. Pickup and drop off at Queenstown airport was super easy and Hassle free. Will always choose Go Rentals for hiring vehicles in NZ
There were several commendable features of our recent car rental. I was quite happy to actually receive the car Toyota Yaris Hybrid that I booked online. That is not always the case with other car rental agencies. We also were able to easily add on two more days to our rental when we first arrived to pick up the car. We appreciated that a car manufacture manual was in the glovebox when we had to look up an issue with the car. Finally, and importantly, The Go app actually publishes the address for RETURNING the vehicle. We have had issues with other companies, especially when returning a car in the early morning hours in a city completely unfamiliar to the driver.
