I had an eye procedure done on 22nd April. Would like to thank Shaun the nurse in eye clinic the doctors in the theatre. Neil Avery Geoff and James. Many thanks
giving this place a 1 star because the staff are absolutely terrible.nnthe front desk of ED was great, very helpful and patient.nnthe lady who did my xray was great, very friendly and hospitable.nnthe man who took my information down and gave me laughing gas for my broken knee was great aswell.nnand a special thank you to Dr. Watson, he is a superstar, very knowledgeable, very passionate. He is a man who obviously takes his job seriously and wants to help everyone. much love to him.nnBut to the dozen other staff members i encountered during my time there you are all awful. Stink attitudes, degrading words, unnecessary conflicts, unhelpful, rude. these staff/nurses almost seemed as if they had cognitive disabilities or bored with their job so they have to poke at patients for their entertainment, was a disgusting experience with that handful.nnI know its not anyones job to be nice to me but patience and respect goes a long way when you are dealing with patients in EXTREME pain and potentially life changing injuries.
The nursing staff were very good and pleasant. But communication was absolutely shocking wasn’t phoned after husband had surgery next morning when I went in doctor was there and told he might have had heart attack during surgery he might have infection then no further communication from any one.you phone up and are told staff you need to talk to are having cup of tea they will phone you back this doesn’t happen . You are told they are being transferred back to Wairarapa with with in 30 mins THREE DAYS LATER THEY ARRIVE.
On 18/11/23 I'm not happy with dental and oral team at Wellington Hospital. I chipped my molar tooth. One of the surgeons didn't give me a chance to call my parents. Saying that it has to be pulled out. I'm not coming back at all.
Over the last 3 years had 2 admissions to Wgtn Hospital both times had 15hrs and 18hrs waiting in corridor to get a bed in a ward. Took 10 hours through A&EnnIn comparison Auckland this week took 10 minutes to get into A&E 1 hours in there getting assessment etc and then to a ward.nnNot Wgtn Staff problem they have shortage of both staff and beds etc 3rd world
