I had a surgery in November/2024 to remove an uterus fibroid and I had the best treatment and service ever. I felt I was a queen, the hospital team was amazing, since the punctual admission, to the tour in the hospital, the waiting room very comfy with a lazy boy and a warm blanket and nice socks. I love the menu showing the food options for my stay, I could choose. The room after the surgery was very comfortable, private with a nice window view and nice toilet. The food was amazing, the nurses very sweet taking care of me. The checkout was great, I got all the instructions to finish the treatment at home, from the nurse. I just want to say thank you for everything. Thank you to my amazing doctor Andrew Murray as well. This is the best and the most modern hospital I have been. Everything was incredibly perfect. I recommend 100%.
An outstanding level of care was shown to be for my surgery I had at southern cross. All the nurses that came in to check on me were lovely and so patient and helpful!
I have just got home from a 3 night stay at Southern Cross Hospital in Wellington after a scheduled operation. I was blown away by the skill, care, attentiveness, professionalism, kindness and generosity shown by ALL the staff. It was very conducive to facilitating a fantastic recovery. The food was wholesome & delicious and I wanted for nothing. They were welcoming and relaxed as other family members visited and I am so grateful to have had the pleasure of such fine care...and very pleased I didn't cancel my private health insurance when I was about to need it the most! Thank you all :
I'd like thank you to the staff,nurses and doctors who love after me. They are so caring and professional in what they do. I feel safe and care in your hands. I'm kind of a hospital connoisseur at this point, and let me just say that the staff at Southern Cross Wellington are the best I have ever encountered.nThe nurses were so kind and thoughtful, making us feel comfortable during the admission, sneaking my partner coffee because he isn't a morning person etc.nChecking in constantly, and then adjusting my care plan when I had a very minor reaction to the anesthetic. I have never felt so well looked after.nThank you all so much.
