Victoria Street Car Park

Thanks to this parking building, my lung capacity is improving every day because I have to hold my breath from the constant pee smell. Seriously, who keeps peeing on the floor and stairs here? I’ve been using this building for over a decade, and I’ve never been able to escape this awful smell.

Conveniently located with good amount of public parking spaces. Greatly priced, especially on weekends. Ramps are quite narrow so can be challenging to drive around the space, not to mention that every now and then, some drivers will ignore the no entry signs so might be head-to-head with them. The ticketless system works well for us.

One star because there's some sort of software glitch where the signage says 377 parks available but the structure is actually full. And once you're in the queue, goodluck getting back out of the building. This is the second time it has happened to me now.nnIt gets a second star because it's cleaner and much cheaper than it's rip off counterpart, Wilson which is right next door.

Great location for central Auckland and really good value - I paid $4 per hour, daytime drive in. Only really suitable for cars salon as the corners are tight and the ramps narrow; take it easy! The spaces vary in size but usually lot of room on the higher levels. All the low levels are reserved parking so go up once you go down, there's no return!. You'll see a lot of the pillars are scraped; don't be one of them! There's only one lift and it can be slow, so patience is required. But don't be put off: this is bargain parking in the central city, and close to the Art Gallery, theatres and town hall, and Mezze Bar best place to eat and drink.

Best place to park in the city in the weekend don’t attempt to park here on weekdays! can’t get much better than that.
