Museum Car Park

I think brand new carpark underground parking. Very cheap price for parking. Enter the Museum car park from Maunsell Road. There are three ways to pay for ... car park is under CCTV and security surveillance.

Very narrow parking spaces that barely allow me to get the door open and get out of the car. There is also no directional traffic control and so when the carpark is busy people park on the side of the road and this makes the roads one way. This one way flow is not a problem in itself but without any directional control or passing bays it means that I got stuck with 6 vehicles coming in the opposite direction and had to reverse about 170 metres in order to get out. Use this carpark with extreme caution.

Your last resort at the times when you can't get any free parking in the Auckland Domain area. The upside, it's covered, and have easy access to the museum, and the first 30 minutes is free; the downside, it's quite dear at $3 per 30 minutes. Or $9 for early birds, or evening rates.
