The library is an amazing environment to do your research and studies during weekdays and weekends though spaces are limited especially during the busy season. The staff are friendly except for the one male staff on the right that is always unhelpful and extremely condescending. That might just be his personality, but I always had a bad experience if I'm asking for help from him. I have my eyes on him for some time to see if the attitude was consistent, and it was not. For some certain individual, he's somewhat nice, but for some, he's extremely condescending. There's a pattern, but I'm not going to assume anything just from observations.
So incredibly hard to find a seat here during the day throughout the whole semester, and during exam season it's even worse. If you aren't there by 8:15am in exam season you won't find a seat. In some areas the wifi doesn't work too. Other than that the library is nice and it has a mix of quiet individual floors and loud groups floors.
way too small for the amount of people at the uni. it's basically impossible to find a seat.nedit for the response: the issue is that it's not just towards the end of the term, it's literally the whole entire term.
Floors two three and four are great for group sessions and six through eleven are great for silent study. I rate the booking rooms highly and are great for studying with a group or by yourself and you like a closed off room and whiteboard. Just make sure to book well in advance as there are practically no free time slots on the same day - especially as exam season approaches
Very good environment to do your research and reading. But I would like to see the library opens 10am to 5pm on Saturday.nThanks for very helpful staff there
