First time visiting this new facility today and I was impressed. Very modern, good layout and more accessible than the previous location for the library in my opinion. I went to use the library but the pool looked good too from what I saw. There were plenty of staff on hand, which was sometimes an issue at the old library, and an ample amount of computers available for use. It's a facility that was definitely needed in Hornby and will be appreciated by the local residents and visitors alike.
Awesome new facility. Staff are friendly and helpful.nThe pools are great and well layed out making it easy for a parent supervising multiple children of various ages as you can take turns in each pool with all children, and simply move from one to the next keeping everyone happy most of the timenGreat sized changing rooms for families and plenty of lockers and pool side seating.nHaving the library on site is fantastic meaning this could be an all day visit.nWe cycled from Sockburn via Waterloo Road and so having the bike racks on site was great.nAll in all a great way to spend the afternoon with the kids.
Fantastic pool and library - love the hydrotherapy pool especially as it’s great for gentle exercise. Library has a great selection as well as access to some family history resources and the creative spaces tools.
Great place with lots of activities to get involved in.
Very good facilities. Clean and roomy. Hydrotherapy pool good temperature and plenty of room to move . Good supply of equipment.The aqua gentle class was a good all round workout.
