Warm and welcoming inside, with friendly and helpful staff, and a good supply of assorted reading material. If they don't have a book in stock, you can request it and they'll get it delivered in from either their book repository in town or from another library. Just like every other library, this is the kind of data centre we should be investing in!
Great community library. Helpful staff, very obliging and accommodating. Great group of people play mahjong here on Monday afternoons.
A small Chch library with very friendly staff. Lots of fun things for the little ones to play with and look at, even though it’s situated on a very busy road I knew we were safe and that my 2yo wouldn’t run out onto the road because the door has a button release to exit. Ample parking with entry to the car park just past the library with heading out of town. A few bonuses: food pantry right beside the library and also a lovely playground and field behind the library.
Little library but often has activities and still a good selection of books.
Extra nice staff and so helpful q6th Oct 2025 .. Security Guard on duty today he was helpful and acknowledged people as they entered and left the library Left with a positive feeling of a caring community facility
