My experience was disappointing. The wait time was excessively long, and the restaurant environment didn’t feel welcoming or comfortable.nnI ordered medium spicy goat curry but was too hot. I could only taste the chill powder.nnThe waitress girl seemed to be very nice she didn’t have enough training and she was trying to do everything by herself, which led to an unprofessional and unmanaged atmosphere. On the positive side, the prices were fair, but overall, the dining experience did not meet expectations.nCould be better for Indian food.nNot a place if you love authentic Nepalese taste. nnI hope you consider improving your service and management in the future.nnAll the best :
This place is a hidden gem, you’d really have to read and research a lot and then take the leap to west Auckland to try for yourself how good Timmur is. We pretty much tried 4-5 kinds of momos and each one was better than the first. The chicken and the lamb ones were equally juicy and delicious & tasty in every combination. The Timmur special momo was really special. The chicken choila was smoky, succulent & the chow mein was just like how Indo Chinese street chow mein tastes like in the best way possible. We also tried a thakali thali from which the Nepali chicken curry was absolutely bomb. The service was a tad bit slow that night. They were kind enough to give a discount but also handled it with a smile & a bit of banter. The food more than made up for it. Will be back for more!
Really wanted to try this place out. I expected very Indian dishes which didn’t disappoint but was really surprised by Sichuan fusion influence. Great food with fresh ingredients and perfect spice and heat balance. Highly recommended!! Try the spicy Momos Noodles and best mango lassi I’ve ever tried!!
Probably for the first time we came out from a restaurant in Auckland with 100% satisfaction! Went here after watching 'Chasing the plate'..This place is worth the hype.. we tried several food but the chicken soup momo is the best.. Will keep coming again..
