Mt Albert BBQ Noodle House

This review os for 932 mt albert bbq noodle house. My daughter ordered bbq pork and rice and the meat had a greyish tinge to it and weird taste, so was unable to eat it. Very disappointing. Sort of hard to tell the discolouration from photos but she could tell from taste too.

Headed there because we were craving Asian food.nnThe fried rice with roast pork was quite tasty. And the fried noodles were good too. Huge portions and they were generous with the protein.nnThere's an exact same ish shop next door with the same name. Rather confusing but we were glad we went to this one.

Local takeaway for my family for years. This place is an absolute God send. The food tastes incredible and the price for the portion sizes is incredible. I always leave this place being either too full or leftovers for future me. With the atmosphere being like your truly in an Asian restaurant. It reminds me of home and it is such and amazing comfort food place when I'm missing home. Do make sure you go to the right one. This one is the one with the red sign and a wooden building.

The lady at the counter was so super helpful. I wanted Wan Tan Hor, which was not on the menu but the lady was so super accommodating and made it for me. I was so thrilled. I will be back !

A true cornerstone of Mt Albert, you’ve gotta drop in next time you’re  in the neighbourhood. Friendly service, outstanding portion sizes. And true to their name, these guys know noodles. 10/10.
