Burnt Butter Diner

Absolutely delightful experience this morning! I tangata that served me was friendly and warm, and energy inside the cafe was good. I ordered an oat matcha and a cheese scone, and that scone was the best scone I’ve ever brought from a cafe. I would come back just for the scone! The matcha was also beautiful, not too sweet but not too bitter. They also accommodated when I wanted a takeaway cup, and it was a flat lid with a sippy part. It’s such a random thing to be impressed about, I know. I will absolutely be back to try some of the hot food from their menu!

Thank you for the lovely breakfast today. And I'm so sorry I almost forgot to pay when we leave the store. Every dish was unique and beautiful. If you love pancake, I highly recommend this cafe. I definitely come back and try other dishes with the filter coffee.

Very cozy and chill, the staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed while still being busy. Good music and lighting. My mocha was delicious, perfect amount of sweetness. I got the Chilli Fried Eggs, my expectations were exceeded! It was a perfect dish, all the elements and ingredients were perfectly balanced, nice medium heat.nnI'm very excited to come back and try again, highly recommend

Burnt Butter is hands down one of my absolute favourite spots in Auckland. My partner and I celebrate all of our special occasions here, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently incredible, the team are always kind, welcoming, and efficient, and the whole place has such a great vibe.nnMy personal favourite is the smoked fish crumpet , genuinely unreal, but the sandos are always amazing too. And the hash sticks deserve their own mention. So good.nnWe usually go early because it’s so popular, but even when we’ve had to wait which is always worth it it’s never been long and the staff communicate everything so well.nnBurnt Butter is one of those rare places that gets everything right every single time. We recommend it to all of our friends and family, and everyone who goes ends up loving it too.
