Incredible experience from start to finish! The service was a perfect 10/10 – attentive, friendly, and professional. The food, simply amazing and beautifully presented. What truly made our afternoon was the owner – so warm and welcoming, he made us feel right at home. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend!

A hidden gem in Avondale. We can’t say enough good things about this nicely decorated German cafe. We all had our best German brunch at Mitten Drin. The food was incredibly tasty with large portions. The staffs are really friendly and provide good service. You get try German dish for both lunch and breakfast. We were so hungry forgot to take pictures so only took picture of a Bavarian breakfast. And their large size coffee literally means large size. All the coffee lovers like me will love that. This place is very welcoming relaxed with homely vibes. The food is German with affordable price, the beers are German and friendly staffs will make you to visit this place again

An extremely good value for money restaurant. Where else in Auckland does great food for under $30 for a main.The food portions are big and hearty and the drinks dirt cheap! Don't expect polished service, but it's still good. If you're in the mood for comfort food, this is for you. It deserves a try by all!

Amazing hospitality and food is extremely high quality & delicious. I recommend the sausage platter for starters and either pork ribs or pork belly for main, was a very delicious dinner and the vibe indoors is great, so comforting! good indoor/outdoor flow, plenty parking, the owners and staff are lovely, the lunch deals are also very good value so i’ll definitely be back for lunch at some point! can’t forget the cocktails.. wow. thank you very much to the team! Visited Mitten Drin and had an amazing time! The food was super tasty and the atmosphere was really cozy. The staff were also very friendly and made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend
