The Fish and Jandal

The host are delightful, very warm and welcoming. The attention to detail is amazing. The location is spectacular with beauty views everything could possibly want to enjoy you stay they have thought about. We were greeted warmly with a glass of wine, fruit platter and home baking in the fridge chocolates on the bed. I can not recommend highly enough and I hope to return someday soon.

This place is fantastic. I've stayed in many places all around the world and can honestly say this is up there with the best apartments and airbnbs. So quiet, presented well and all the little extra special treats the lovely welcoming owners gave made you feel special. We appreciated having a bbq to cook on for the first 2 nights as we had eaten out a lot on our travels and it was magic cooking it as the sun was setting over McLeod Bay across the road. Highly recommend.

We arrived at The Fish and Jandal after a long walk. We hiking the Te Araroa Trail and we watching for something to sleep and we found this beautiful place in front of the ocean: heaven. Jacqueline e John are both very lovely.. thank you for your love and passion! Carlotta e Alessandro

Great place to stay well appointed with everything you could ever want a real home away from home. Very clean and all linen and towels were top quality, a short drive from whangarai and your into some wonderful harbor and ocean views. Lots to do . And the fish and jandal is the gateway to it all. Loved our stay and will definitely go back.
