Beautiful cinema with very friendly staff, comfortable chairs with lots of leg room

Was great to see Daffodils at the last ever screening at this historic cinema, sad to see it close hope someone does something amazing with this space.

Loved the older style cinema feel. Comfortable seats and friendly staff. A real treat in the era of the overly commercial mall cinemas which lack originality

Fabulous intimate wee theatre, movies as they should be seen

Lovely old fashioned cinema, feels like a theatre. Friendly staff and comfy seats, fantastic since the film was 2 and a half hours! You can also get free movies posters when available

This is a charming little cinema, service was great too, comfy seats and plenty of leg room in the theatre. Convenient and free car park behind the cinema and there are lots of asian eateries on Dominion Road to enjoy a bite to eat before the movie.

Quirky movie theatre. Went at 5 with a friend thinking to grab a drink before the movie at 6.30 movie but it was still closed. Theatre was comfortable and clean.

So cute, comfy seats and great movie. Had a nice family night out!

One of thee best cinemas in New Zealand! Great decor, plays all type of movies to suit everyone and great customer service. Highly recommend!

The Capitol is an historic part of our city. Especially for those of us who enjoyed art house films before the rialto was built.
