Went to watch doctor strange, awesome cinema, had the popcorn was pretty good and a beautiful 7 up to wash it down, movie was great and the sound quality amazing. Just wish the chairs reclined back a bit or had the leg extender seats. No complaints either way.

This is the cheapest cinemas in Auckland $12 a movie but you do pay extra $2 for Xtreme & $5 for Premium but honestly that's my opinion, I have been to lots of cinemas and this is my go to cinema as I watch three different movies on that day, inbetween you can shop in Lynn Mall and catch up with friends, only down side is that you need to check the seats before you sit down otherwise you sit on a dirty chair, apart from that staff are great

I recently visited the Reading Cinema in New Lynn to watch Avatar: The Way of the Water and overall, I had a great experience. The seating was comfortable and provided a good view of the screen. The cinema itself was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall enjoyment of the movie. One thing that really stood out to me was the value for money at this cinema. The entrance fee was very reasonable and I felt that I got my money's worth. Additionally, there was ample parking available, which made it easy to get to and from the theater. Overall, my experience at the Reading Cinema in New Lynn was enjoyable. The seating, cleanliness, and value for money all contributed to a positive movie-going experience. I would definitely visit this cinema again in the future.

Best cinemas in Auckland! Their customer service is always friendly -best value for movies and movie treats. I won’t go to another cinema as this one is the best overall! We have been lucky enough to have the theater all to ourselves at times. Felt like a private screening!

Great cinema, customer service very good. Had to differ tickets to another night and Judith was really understanding and helpful. The ticket prices are very good, lots of parking and seats very comfortable. Good offering at the confectionary counter and staff always friendly. Like the reward system.

I was in cinema 8 and as soon as we entered a strong gust of stench and warmth just hit us. We informed the staff about the AC not being turned on but they never did anything, it wasn’t just us but a few people complained of the smell and heat too. Not forgetting the floor being a total mess. Just to top it all off, after the movies we went to the bathroom only to find out some toilets were blocked and none of the ladies toilets had toilet paper. I get that the Readings cinema is cheaper than the other cinemas but if this is the service we get after paying a few dollars less then I seriously don’t want it. The customer service was amazing but the basic things were not there for the people that paid for the cinema. Thanks and no thanks

This is our "go to" movie theatre and has been for a few years now! The theatres have excellent sound and screen.. the seating is good.. not quite as good as some of the flasher theatres but the price of the ticket is Always nice! And it's right beside a bunch of very nice restaurants or a food court!

Pretty good cinema, nothing outstanding. You can pretty much just walk in to any movie you want for free, there isn't any security or anything either. I'm not condoning it, I'm just pointing it out. Prices are slightly high for movie standards, but other than that it's alright.

Gold Class seat for a three hour movie is the best call made. Ordered from their menu and it was delivered with my pilsner. $52 evening with movie, food and drink. Money well spent

Best movies watched in anything other than standard cinemas. Seats are uncomfortable. Pay the extra $2-4 and watch your movie more comfortably. Food heavily priced.
