Very good value and absolutely delicious. At first glance the sets appear pricey but the amount of food you get is incredibly generous. Seafood was fresh, hotpot was hearty and the eel was well seasoned. Staff are friendly and attentive, interior is clean and nicely decorated.nCan’t wait for the next visit - would recommend!
There’s been a lot of buzz lately about Taiko and the whole food safety issue, but honestly, from our recent visits it hasn’t felt that bad at all. In fact, maybe because it’s less crowded now, the food quality seems to have bounced back, especially the sukiyaki, which was great.
First time dining here, and I can't believe I didn't know about it sooner! I got the vegetarian made vegan set menu and I was so impressed and very full! Service was so quick and the chef and waitresses were lovely. Thank you Taiko! Will definitely be back.
Great service and mouth-watering, authentic Japanese food!nWe ordered the vegetable tempura, katsu, tuna sashimi, and squid ink udon — and loved every dish. Nothing disappointed. Everything was beautifully presented with authentic flavours. Despite the busy atmosphere, our food and drinks arrived quickly, and the waitstaff were attentive and efficient.
Delicious food and value. Huge portions and it was very delicious. I got the tempura upon set and the tempura was crispy and the sashimi were fresh. I then got the matcha dessert set. A bit expensive but the presentation made up for it. Don't get the green tea though as mines had barely any tea leaves in it.
