Sake Bar Nippon Epsom

It was pretty darn good. Came back from Japan last week and would say that it is on par with a regular standard/ good Japanese restaurant. The sashimi is very fresh. The rice portion at the base is a bit smaller than usual compared to Japanese volumes but all the ingredients were authentic and completely delicious.

Incredible energy the moment we stepped through the door. The staff were so incredibly lovely and the service was top notch. Plenty of options on the menu too. Food came out quite quickly and it was INSANE. Cooked perfectly and so flavourful. A highlight was definitely the yum yum scallops. Would highly recommend this place!!

1st time experiencing a true Japanese restaurant in Auckland. I was blown away with the atmosphere, the food and the service. Definitely will be going back with my family.

Easy to book the table on their website, the staff are friendly and helpful if you’re not sure what to choose. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. A great place for a relaxed night out

My new favourite izakaya style dining in Auckland. Comfortably the best and most legitimate experience in these parts too. Good food including things like fried mackerel and some of the smaller dishes like bean sprouts.
