Musashi Japanese Cuisine - St Heliers

We called the restaurant and told them about our takeaways order. We ordered a couple of sushi dishes and sushi rice wasn’t cooked properly raw inside and wet outside as you can see in pictures can’t even see individual grains. Kitchen wasn’t really happy about my remarks said they will call me back never did. I have been long time customer here but won’t be coming back anymore.

My partner & I had the set menu dinner. Each dish was delicious, and the main course was amazing! We will come back.

Was expecting great food but was very disappointed with the main meal. The entree and side were served first and they were not bad. When it came to the mains, we made a BIG mistake ordering soup base ones as the soup was so so so salty that made sea water taste better! Seriously, it was so bad. I just don't understand how they could have got such a rating on Google. Surely, the cook would have taste what they made before serving! Very disappointed and not going back ever. I do not recommend.

The food was AMAZING. I visited so many Japanese restaurants, but this one is excellent. Taste, service, cozy atmosphere, literally everything was perfect thank you Musashi for unbelievable hospitalitynSee you soon again

Heard good things. Visitors visited on a Saturday and it looked like tables hadn't been cleared. Sign of a busy service - good. Ordered ramen, it was ok but the cost was high. Might be a sign of the times. Wish them well
