We didn't make a booking and they happily joint 2 tables to fit the 7 of us. Very very enjoyable delicious food! Service was good!

The food and service was good. We are really enjoy our dinner.

We were on the way back from a Piha sunset when we found this quaint restaurant on the map, still open til 10, but definitely getting ready to close if it wasn't for us coming in slow night for a variety of external reasons we think. I'm so glad they did stay open and let us order anything because it was all so, so good and we got so, so much haha. The box meals are huge and amazing, especially the side bowl of miso soup which is always a favourite. The Japanese steak and tuna tataki were also delicious and cooked perfectly. The interior ambience only made everything better, and I would easily think would be a great date night corner spot.

Good food, good customer service and good environment. They were super busy with valentines rush but still managed to make the wait times bearable bringing food out in good succession and within a good time frame of each other. The staff are friendly, inviting and will try to help however possible while making sure you have what you need.

Very satisfying to have dinner at this place. The price matches with the amount of food I got. Though I think they should increase the amount of rice slightly more. Additionally, I have one complaint, one of the staff doesn't seem to speak English well. My brother asked if the restaurant have other flavor of Fanta than the orange one, but the staff didn't understand the question. Even after asking a couple more times and slowly, the staff wasn't able to comprehend.

Excellent food Chicken Katsu was delicious, service and ambience. Can totally recommend. Whole family enjoyed their meals - and staff were helpful making sure one meal was free of an ingredient that someone was allergic to.
