Sylvan Park

Great park location to watch almost anything happening on the lake, especially rowing! The amenities are basic but clean and well stocked, which is nice. Parking is not easy but walking is all part of the excursion!

My boyfriend and I come here every year on the 28th of April to celebrate our anniversary. I love the lush greenery and picturesque look out to the lake. It's a very romantic place to have a picnic with your love and see the swans on a nice sunny day in Autumn. This place has a lot of sweet memories I hold close to my heart.

Sylvan Park in Auckland is a popular destination for sailing and rowing enthusiasts, with its amenities such as walking paths and BBQ areas adding to its appeal. It is a lovely spot for outdoor activities and gatherings.

I went on an outing with three other people to this place for lunch because apparently I could not be trusted to be left alone at home and well because it was something they did not tell me about before hand I did not have a nice time.nnYeah the scenery was lovely but I felt miserable the whole time and that is the only reason I am not giving it more than 3 stars, had it not been forced on me and had I not been miserable I would have liked it more.

Visited the park for the first time when they had a free event for children. Really loved it. It's not big, but has enough space for the kids to run around, there is a free BBQ facility, public toilets and picnic tables. Great view as well.
