Very Good bay. We anchored our yacht here and picked up family with the dinghy. Very protected from swell with a Little Rock barrier
Such a beautiful little beach with nice spots under the trees to have some shade. I like that the beach is not too long and big, so it feels more personal - It’s good to come here with kids because you can see them from everywhere. The platform in the water is fun to swim to and good rocks to climb onto.nPublic toilets straight at the beach and an ice-cream truck that stops there once or twice a day!
Castor Bay Beach Reserve seems a quite popular spot for swimmers.nnMy husband and I went to Castor Bay Beach Reserve for a relaxing stroll. We saw some people swimming and fishing there while others enjoyed their stroll along the beach.nnIt worths a visit when you drive past Castor Bay next time.
Great beach and foreshore area with golden sand, lots of shade and generally a nice crowd. Note that parking is very limited, so on busy days you might have trouble finding a park near the beach.nnGets nice and deep quickly which is good compared to some beaches in Auckland. There’s also a pontoon which is an added bonus.
Very nice beach! Not many people go to this beach so it is quite serene and quiet.
