Browns Bay Beach Reserve

Lovely beach for swimming, especially with kids. It's calm and drops off gently so you can swim at shoulder height quite a way from the shore. Also there is a new boardwalk over the marsh area which makes for a lovely walk. A bit of a hidden gem!

Clean and calm beach. Not very crowded and you can enjoy swimming here The waves are not strong and are a bit shallow near the coast.nThe best part is the shops near it where you can enjoy the best ice cream and coffee while you relax on the beach.nHighly recommended to visit.

Beautiful clean beach. There’s a children playground for kids to play also there’s a place for motorboat rides. We used toilets which were clean. Car parking was difficulty because of holiday time.

Lovely beach with fun playground and skate park so accommodates all ages. Beach I large and tidy with outdoor shower facilities. Popular beach for the area. Swimming is also popular as water quality is clean and healthy. Toilets and changing room need an upgrade like Takapuna beach but otherwise very good beach.

Nice and long beach. Good place to swim here. Public toilets and changing room and outdoor shower here. Can is the island from here. Nice view.
