A beautiful beach that almost gives the West Coast experience close to the North Shore. The beach is long hence the name with small dunes and a vast expanse of shoreline to enjoy. At the North end is an estuary where you can sometimes see waterbirds such as herons.nnThe beach is part of Long Bay Regional Park and has extensive grassy areas which are perfect for picnics and Summer activities.nnClose by are the Long Bay town centre which is a relatively new development and the Torbay shops.

Such an awesome spot.fantastic views, awesome facilities great for families and gathering

I love this place. Ideally, for a barbecue and relaxing on the beach.
