Waiake Beach Reserve

Waiake Beach is one of my favorite spots in Auckland so far. Great family-friendly vibe kids playing, people sunbathing, boats launching. Clean with handy facilities like toilets, BBQs, and parking. The surrounding area feels upscale, and the overall atmosphere is just lovely. Definitely recommend!

It is a lovely and beautiful beach where you can swim, kayak, paddle board and have lots of fun with family & friends.

Just need to get somewhere for a picnic and a relaxing time at the beach? Waitake is the place, less busy than Browns Bay ,get there early for a choice of close by parking, good clean toilets and changing rooms. We had a lovely picnic and played scrabble. What a great wee spot. I went with my photography mentor of many years and if course we took photos!
