Milford Beach Reserve

The beach is truly beautiful, with great spots for swimming, kayaking, and boating. It also has flush toilets and drinking water fountains for convenience.

Milford Beach Reserve is a beautiful and relaxing spot on Auckland’s North Shore. The beach has soft sand, calm water, and a lovely walking path that stretches along the coast. It’s great for swimming, picnics, or just sitting under the trees watching the tide roll in. There’s a playground, plenty of parking, and cafés just a short walk away. It feels peaceful but still close to everything

I absolutely love this beach! Nice soft sand, perfect for walking, sunbathing, and swimming.nnPleanty of free parking.nIt gets the sunrise and sun till about 530 in the summer evenings.nPublic toilets and showers in the parking lot.nnTake note of the hours dogs are allowed on the beach. In summer, dogs aren't allowed between 10 am and 5 pm.nOut of those hours off leash play is allowed.nnWe even managed to score an ice cream from the ice cream truck in the summer evening.nnThere is also a playground and grass area right there, too.

I would say I enjoyed my visit to this place but my sour disposition that day would disagree mainly because I was dragged into it even though I did not want to go it tends to happen like that somehow and yes we did have lunch there but i did not feel like eating anything else because I was in a sour mood.nnYeah it's hard for me to rank it higher than 3 stages due to my own very bad experience at this park on that day compared to other days.

It’s lovely beach for an early morning walk or jogging.nnThere is volleyball field and one basket for basketball.nnIt’s clean and the parking can be outside or inside the parknnIt’s lovely in the morning and before sunsetnAlso there is creek full of boats.nnGood place for families, friends and couplesnnIt’s chilli in the morning but that’s exceptednBring your coffee and have a wonderful day there
