How refreshing to find a venue happy to welcome our dog inside! Definitely beat sitting outside in the stiff southerly. Service was attentive, friendly, and informative, and all requests were no problem. Food was fresh and tasty all around. Would definitely return.
Amazing food and outstanding service all in a homely pub atmosphere. I was visiting family in Papakowhai and we had 45 minutes to spare for dinner on our trip to the airport. So I rang Sprig and Fern Tawa and they said 'no problem' - we ordered our meals over the phone for 5:30 pm, and our three delicious steak meals two with garlic butter and one with a delicious mushroom sauce and drinks arrived at our table at 5:35 pm just 5 minutes after our arrival. They were delicious pieces of top-quality steak cooked to perfection, and the fries and salad were very nice. So, although they were fairly busy, we had a delicious leisurely dinner and drinks, and left for the airport 30 minutes after we arrived. Can't rate the food and staff highly enough, will definitely be back.
A big thank you shout out to the staff on tonight 15/01/26. We booked in to celebrate my son's birthday and the service from the manager, kitchen staff, head chef and waitresses/barman was exceptional! I'm sorry I forgot your names but our meals were delicious and the customer service was awesome! We had a group of 17 including small children and the staff ensured we were well looked after especially the small children. Highly recommend 10 out of 10 we will definitely be back!
It's been a few years since being back at Sprig & Fern and how great was it to see a full house of punters, great vibe and service.nWe had a private small get together in the enclosed courtyard area. It was warm, welcoming and food and service was unmatched. Finally rolling out at 10pm after a great experience.nGreat work Tim and Team.
