The day before my wife and I purchased a set of curtains from Spotlight Tauranga for my daughter.nUnfortunately we picked the wrong colour which did not suit my daughter's colour scheme. Also the bracket configuration didn't work with the french doors we were trying to hang the curtains along.nSo on taking them back for a refund we spotted some roll up/down blinds which although $18 more expensive were a great match colour wise. Also the roll up/down blinds the Spotlight staff assured us would work over our French Doors. Of course it was no problem at all getting a Credit and paying the difference at Spotlight check out. My daughter was very happy with the installation of the blinds.
The store is looking good and well stocked but unfortunately the staff in the sewing department aren’t the best! I would suggest finding staff that have good communication skills and know what they are talking one of your staff cost me twice as much as I should have paid through her lack of experience. Normally i would have had the fabric calculations right but I was exhausted and asked for help. Thankfully I can use the extra fabric but I will never ask your staff for help again. Another day the lady behind the counter was extremely rude! She just quickly served me without engaging. Will be doing my shopping online as much as I can from now on. Hope this review is helpful in getting the sewing department staff trained or replaced
Very friendly and fast service. Not a big store compare to stores in other cities so narrower isles to navigate through. It still has everything that a typical Spotlight shop offers. Ample parking spaces out in front but given this is an old shopping centre site, those parking spaces are small and tight. There are other shops/cafe/Fast food in the vicinity so can get all you shopping done in one go. Overall a pleasant shopping experience and will return again. Recommending for others to visit the store.
After initially being very disappointed with 2 new sets of bifocals, when one lens seemed incorrect, Specsavers gave me another eye test and have ordered 2 new pairs for me, so im happy they have sorted them for me.
