I popped in about 1/4 to 12 yesterday to get some fabric. The young woman on the counter was so helpful - her customer service was great. So bubbly and kind. You need more staff like her.
Very friendly and fast service. Not a big store compare to stores in other cities so narrower isles to navigate through. It still has everything that a typical Spotlight shop offers. Ample parking spaces out in front but given this is an old shopping centre site, those parking spaces are small and tight. There are other shops/cafe/Fast food in the vicinity so can get all you shopping done in one go. Overall a pleasant shopping experience and will return again. Recommending for others to visit the store.
Very average selection. Found only one string of green beads in the whole place. However, they do have 2 bins of the sawmill ends yarn bags 400g
I've been to the Gate Pa spotlight a few times in the past 6 months and their staff are courteous and helpful. It is pretty much a one-stop-shop when you have a sewing or craft project. I do prefer to shop there when they have specials as I appreciate the quality of their fabrics etc. Just added photos of cafe curtains, that I've sewn together for a friend. This was using netting that I got, at a very reasonable price, from there.
But aisles too narrow with push chair and getting past others. Claustrophobic. Difficult to orientate where to exit. Can't get out without getting past the queue at checkout even though paid at fabric counter.
