We have recently built a house in Omokoroa and worked with Donna at Plumbing World Judea to select all of the bathroom items and tapware. Donna was very knowledgeable and made the whole process very easy. Website says open until 1pm, and so does the sign on the door but the shop is closed... Perhaps display prices of items for window shopping?
Dreadful service and only interested in dealing with tradespeople. Don't look for anything non-standard. Plumbing World is a big name. 'Plumbing small range of product with no advice and little attempt at customer engagement' is a long, but more apt name.
Travelled 28 km to Plumbing World in Birch St. Tauranga, in order to buy some ball valve handles. I asked the guy at the counter, while he was looking at me sideways, if they had handles for the ball valve I showed him?nAnswer: No.nDo you know where I could buy them?nAnswer: No.nWhere do you get your ball valves from?nAnswer: I don't know.nCan you ask somebody?nAnswer: There is nobody hernCan you identify the manufacturer for me?nAnswer: No.nIs there a way I can find out?nAnswer: Google it.
