Two years ago, Spiga was the place where we had our first date. Now, as a married couple, we returned for lunch, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service made it a truly special experience.nnFungi Pizza was absolutely incredible—hands down the best fungi pizza in Auckland! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the mushrooms were so fresh and flavorful. We were so impressed that we asked the staff where they sourced their mushrooms. They were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything in detail, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back and create more beautiful memories here.
One of the best meals I've had in a long time. We have been searching for our go-to Italian restaurant in Akl for ages and we've definitely found our place. Spiga is the perfect balance of elegance, decadence, comfort, and authenticity. The people are lovely and their passion/love shine through in every dish and glass. We will definitely be back for more.
Have to start off by saying that SPIGA is the whole story. What an amazing hidden gem in the heart of Remuera.nnThe service was impeccable. Super attentive without it being overbearing and the staff recommendations were a hit especially when we were a bit stuck. The food was great across the board but the highlights for us were the truffle veal tonnato, fried parmesan balls, the squid ink risotto and the beef cheek pasta.nnCouldn't recommend this place enough for a great Italian spot in Auckland.
Spiga has become our go-to dining spot whenever we visit family in Auckland, and it never ceases to impress us with its delectable and authentic Italian cuisine. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, making every visit feel special. Taryne, the fantastic host, always ensures we feel welcomed and well taken care of. The venue itself is tastefully decorated, creating an inviting atmosphere. Without a doubt, we will be returning to Spiga on our next trip to Auckland!
