Went to Spiga last night for our anniversary and had a fantastic, memorable experience. The service was lovely, the staff made us feel very looked after and congratulated us on our anniversary, the food was beautiful, and the restaurant was lovely with the afternoon sun coming through the doors. We had the burrata with foccacia, the seafood risotto, funghi pizza and tiramisu. They were all excellently well balanced, and the tiramisu was one of the best we've tried. The drinks were lovely, and the wait staff helped us select wine to go with our meal when we were having trouble deciding. Overall, a lovely evening, and we will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Nice dining environment and service however, Beef cheeks and mushroom tagliatelle tasted good but way too salty. Also very disappointed about my special black truffle dessert. The biscuits are not crunchy enough so very hard to bite! Not worth it!!!!
Two years ago, Spiga was the place where we had our first date. Now, as a married couple, we returned for lunch, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service made it a truly special experience.nnFungi Pizza was absolutely incredible—hands down the best fungi pizza in Auckland! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the mushrooms were so fresh and flavorful. We were so impressed that we asked the staff where they sourced their mushrooms. They were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything in detail, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back and create more beautiful memories here.
Authentic Italian cuisine with incredibly fresh and delicious food. The chef and the staff were all wonderful. It was an excellent dining experience and a fantastic place for gatherings. Highly recommended!
The Funghi pizza was the standout for our carbohydrate starved party. Service was friendly and professional although slightly slow on offering a refill of beverages. I found the space a little sterile and truth be told the general vibe was also a tad pretentious. Overall the food was good though and well priced. Inversely, The biggest negative for me was that the drinks were overpriced.
